16MB RAM, VGA Card, Sound Blaster compatible, DOS or Windows 9x. A stable, compatible full-featured Snes emulator, supports sound, MMX and achieves basic, (buggy) SFX chip support. Runs almost all Snes ROMs to some degree, although games like Pilotwings and Mario Kart have complex SFX chip operations which Zsnes does not support. The joystick setup is a little tricky and Zsnes only supports a small number of 'big name' brands. This version supports an MMX CPU which means if you have a Intel or other MMX compatible CPU, you will see some benefits.
